Hello,
My name is Daniel Little, I'm 23 years old, and am originally from Virginia. When I was in the 7th grade, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where I attended West Career and Technical Academy where I focused on studying IT Networking. Upon graduating highschool in 2020, I moved to Cedar City, Utah to attend Southern Utah University where I studied to graduate with a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity. In my first year there, I got the opportunity to work at Gateway Preparatory Academy in IT Support. I took the job, loved it, and later went full time. I transferred schools to attend online at Southern New Hampshire University & focus on working and am set to graduate Spring of 2026 with a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity.
After going full-time at Gateway Preparatory Academy, my title was changed to IT Director. Since 2022, I've managed all of our technology, created policy & procedures, applied for state & federal grants, rebuilt & managed our servers, took & handled over 1,900 tickets, and added additional infrastructure to ensure our technology runs smoothly. Working here has been a great experience, and I've learned so much. I love everyone I work with & performing well is extremely rewarding.
Beyond work, I have a personal passion for technology. I enjoy working on my own projects such as my custom computer build at home, my home network rack, and my personal websites. Additionally, I have a passion for cars & motorcycles. I am in the process of restoring and rebuilding my 1989 Mazda RX7 and enjoy working on and riding my 2016 Ninja 300. I complete all of my own maintenance on my vehicles, and I'm always looking for my next project. I also enjoy gaming in my free time when I'm not working or studying for my classes.
My journey in technology has been driven by both professional growth and personal passion. Whether it's managing complex IT infrastructure at work or tinkering with my own tech projects at home, I'm constantly learning and pushing my boundaries. As I continue my education in Cybersecurity and gain more experience in the field, I'm excited to take on new challenges and contribute to innovative solutions in the tech industry. I believe that my combination of hands-on experience, academic knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm for technology makes me a valuable asset to any team.
Sincerely,
Daniel Little
